Devs post actually made me more hyped for the fourth album than Addicted. Not that I'm not incredibly excited for Addicted (trust me, I'm drooling in anticipation), but just his desire and excitement for the fourth makes me feel like it's going to be his most honest and beautiful one. Especially since the heavy parts on Ki - which were cool at times, but - were my least favorite parts on the album.

i never understood the reasoning behind this train of thought. if it's a definite buy, and all devin's work is for me, what difference does it make to him if I hear it before it goes on sale (which is a long ways away from now) ?

i think it's kind of insulting for a fan to not want to hear what he's poured tons of time into ASAP.

No, it's not just you. I agree.

Devin has earned my $20, and will continue to do so as long as he's making music. That said, I will listen to Addicted if it leaks, just as I listened to Ki (and paid my cash for it 2 months later). My conscious is clear on this one.

Of course, mp3 quality is horrible compared to the actual CD, so you need the CD to really capture the full scope of the musical experience. Devin's music really pushes the limits of mp3 technology!

I agree. I own every devy album and I'll continue to purchase them, but how can we possibly wait till the end of November if it leaks?
