Listening to Karma (Omega Experiment) REALLY loud. We tracked some more keys and noises earlier.....smooth as buttah....weird, sort of synthetic production. Me like.

Finishing up recording another original piece I wrote. This one is both more melodic and chaotic than the last one I posted. I'll be re-mixing and redoing a few parts in the coming days, I'll probably post it this weekend.

Tidying my bedroom ready to hang some awesome pictures on the walls, then when I'm done I shall proceed to spend about £3,000 of insurance on stufffffff. It's gonna be like my birthday for weeks! I still don't know what camcorder or MP3 player to buy though, I was recommended an Archos 5 but they're rather big...and I'm not buying a Creative or iPod.

If I have any left over dinero I'll either buy a new phone or a TV for my sleeping quarters :3

Don't buy an iPod. I'll never speak to you again if you do. Unless that's what you're after.

I've had an Archos (Gmini S202XS) for 3 years now and it's still great. I'd recommend that brand :) Thought about getting a 705 Wifi or something like that, it seemed great value for money. But I'm going to save up for a new phone instead - I'd only want it for the Wifi anyway.

I said I don't want an iPod! I'd go into the nerdy PC>Apple debate but to be brutally honest, I think I'm too stupid to control them. How the fuck do they work?!

I had a Creative Zen Vision:M but it died 18 months after purchase and they were very unhelpful, wouldn't repair it for me and offered a pathetic discount on a replacement after about £20 worth of calls to their support centre.

So Archos yus? They're starting to get quite popular, my local Curry's Digital has a display cabinet dedicated to them now! I want something with a big harddrive, a fairly decent battery life, and video playback. The snazzy features on the 5 are quite exciting, but I don't know if I need them all. Nonetheless, it's very good value for money, just REALLY big! Do I go for the shiny clever brick or do I find something else? I need an actual model to definately buy, my dad wants his crappy 4GB Zen back!

Ah right, I miss-read, sorry aboot that :P

There's a new Archos 5 coming out, running Android (Google's smartphone OS).With that, you'll probably be able to install all kinds of fancy apps and games on it if you like that, kind of like an iPod Touch. They're expected September 15 so either way I'd wait for those as prices for the old model will probably drop drastically. 5" Screen is rather large though.

Microsoft is also releasing the Zune HD soon, which will also run apps and stuff, but it's smaller. OLED screen is nice :) But there's no European release scheduled yet.

I'd suggest visiting some of those compare-prices-online websites, you can usually pick one from a large collection there. Just compare the specs and get what you like, there's a lot of this stuff available these days.

The Zune HD sounds really nice from what I've read. When my iPod craps out (which it inevitably will, it's an iPod) I'll be getting a Zune of some kind.

The 250GB 5 is £250, which is pretty much a pound a gig  I paid the same for my 60GB Zen in 2007 which is the maximum I've allowed myself to spend on a player. It was fantastic until it just...died. Oh well I don't have to worry about it :P

For some reason, Zunes arn't sold here... :(

Correct, for now they're USA only (Maybe North-America only? Or also in Japan? I'm not sure). But I believe they're planning to release the Zune HD also in Europe.

Oh and the new Archos 5 will come in a 500GB version :D

Packing everying... ready for my move to Huddersfield tomorrow, for the start of my university life. Scary. Kinda cool, but scary.

Gonna pack my computer away in a few minutes. Not sure when I'll have it back up and running (with internet). Could be tomorrow, could be a week or two.

:) :| :?: :(

Thinking what else to play at my brother's wedding. I've decided to play A Monday and Let It Roll pasted together and it sounds quite nice (Let It Roll in open B puts it just in my vocal range), but I'd like to play something a little more upbeat/swinging as well. Decisions, decisions...
