What gear are you using? That's definitely a 7 string...and I'd go as far to say an Ibanez too(I know Meshuggah fans too well XD haha)
I know you've posted that you use downloaded stuff for tone, and you are definitely a testament to the fact that you dont have to shell out big money to get a good tone to record with.
And it's about time you posted something longer than a minute or two in length! lol
