Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

The guitar tracks I laid down yesterday for a song on our new album. It's yummy, even though it's just the bare drums and guitars. If our bassplayer has time he'll record the bass and then probably put up a little preview. It's no Omega Experiment, but hey... :P

Please do put stuff up, I'd like to hear it. Just out of curiosity, what's the bass player's sound like - pick/fingers, 4/5 string, effects? Just want to know 8)

Opeth - Death Whispered a Lullaby
Yes, that title could be funny if modified... but I'm not going to go there.

Faith No More - Midlife Crisis.

Something about Mike Patton makes you freak the fuck out. Or maybe I'm alone in that.

Patton has some superb pipes. Everything about them is just full of frustrated energy.

I love the fucker, I think Bungle is my favorite of his projects.

It's true, dude. It's like some Freudian Id monster inside of you breaking out and having no idea how to act or where to direct it's energies.

Only ever gotten that with Shitstorm in terms of non-Patton.

Fingers, 5-string, Bass Collection something bass, plays through a chain with a compressor, some rack thing from Aphex (a gated compressor, like this), and a distortion pedal on some occasions. Amp is a Trace Elliot, 150 W if I'm not mistaken.
