I wouldn't have my hopes up. In fact, I wouldn't have any hope at all in the slightest.

No harm in asking! Plus i do kinda know that there is no chance in hell of him ever coming to Ireland again, not after what happened the last time!

Last time?
It'd make my year to see Devin in Vicar Street or the button factory. I'd be very surprised though. Nobody comes here even though they've got big enough followings.

I was told you had some gear stolen on you? From a bus or van? Correct me if wrong please!

Maybe he was just too high to notice?

...Bad joke...

I have seen Dev twice with SYL but never when he has performed any solo material.
The thought of seeing Seventh Wave (or any other OM track in fact) being performed live is unbelievably exciting to me.

I will pay you 10,000 donuts to play in my garden! And free hugs for the band!

If we were to stop gleefully stating where we would like to see him play, we wouldn't get posts like the one above - which made me smile, anyway. However, in this day and age of crappy internet trolls who do harm to folks, I am not sure as to how safe it is to have one's complete address up on view for all, Mr. Nevens. I think all anyone is doing is showing their enthusiasm at the news that we will get to se Dev on tour again.

If it is a productive discussion on the subject that some seek, though, why not consider this an opportunity to connect with folks in our respective areas so that we can, perhaps, connect in person for a show like a proper fan club of old? How cool would it be to have a connected cheering section of sorts to welcome the Dev to our areas?

Crappy internet trolls do not worry me.

Anyhoo, the first time saw Dev live was in Newcastle which is about an hour north of me, SYL line up during the Terria tour.
Opened for the Wildhearts, 20 minute set, FUCKING AMAZING!
I think Dev played Namaste from physicist, thats the only song ive heard live from that album.
Seen him 4 times since, including the download festival but that first show, just seeing him for the first time was still the best.

I've only been listening to Dev since around Alien and The New Black. It's been a long time, but compared to how many records he has, it's rather virginal. I didn't quite know that I was getting wound up in his music at the time, it was all just so fresh to me. Sad to say, I never went to his last show or 2 here in Edmonton, but I have no doubt I'll see him soon. Thanks for the news Dev, I'm amped for Addicted Live. I'll be bringing some of my family just to share something I love with them.

Devin,

I want to create a Facebook group in support of your including Chile in the next tour. When I got to the stage of adding a picture, I didn't do it because I didn't want to infringe any property rights. What picture of you or your property can I put as a group profile picture?

Honestly, I'm really excited (like... a whole lot) about seen you play live and singing along and getting all emotional and stuff. I'm afraid it'd be a once-in -a-lifetime chance for us...

Please tell me if you need more info about possible venues or general infromation about concerts in Chile, where they are always well received and succesful.

Peace and balance!

yes yes yes. Devy lives close enough to me (Portland, OR) that I feel like I have a chance of being close to a show. I'd go in a heartbeat. Maybe two.
