Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

Eddie Vedder - Into The Wild

This is really enjoyable! He should do more solo stuff like this...

Probably my favourite song by them I'd say.

Not many people seem to listen to Power Metal on here, I was quite surprised to see your first Edguy now playing post.

Or is that just my misunderstanding? Is Power Metal "down" with you all here?

I can tolerate a few Edguy songs. That's about it. Find the rest to be very annoying. Had a friend who was obsessive and was constantly playing different bands for me but I never really saw the appeal in the whole thing.

Yeah, I don't listen to it much, but its definately good for "easy listening" or with a bunch of mates.

Have you heard of Cloudscape? I can listen to them as a good band, not just a sing-a-long, like a lot of power metal tends to become. Though I suppose they're not really PURE power metal, I suppose they're Prog metal... but still, they're kinda related genre's in some aspects.

Your favourite? (if you had to live forever listening to ONLY this genre)
  1. Power Metal
  2. "Battle/Viking" Metal (Turisas etc.)
  3. Folk Metal (Korpiklaani, Ensiferum etc,)
  4. Pirate Metal (Alestorm)
  5. Symphonic Metal (Thy Majestie, Dark Moor etc.)

Confusion Bay has some of the funniest lyrics out there! And pretty good music.

If you put Amon Amarth in the Viking metal category and Amorphis in the Folk Metal, then those are my pics.
