Not many people seem to listen to Power Metal on here, I was quite surprised to see your first Edguy now playing post.

Or is that just my misunderstanding? Is Power Metal "down" with you all here?

Depends on the band. I was into it for a short while.

I can tolerate a few Edguy songs. That's about it. Find the rest to be very annoying. Had a friend who was obsessive and was constantly playing different bands for me but I never really saw the appeal in the whole thing.

Yeah, I don't listen to it much, but its definately good for "easy listening" or with a bunch of mates.

Have you heard of Cloudscape? I can listen to them as a good band, not just a sing-a-long, like a lot of power metal tends to become. Though I suppose they're not really PURE power metal, I suppose they're Prog metal... but still, they're kinda related genre's in some aspects.
