No. Never.

I doubt he ever wants to touch it again. In fact I would be surprised if he ever wanted to go back and remaster any of his previous works.

He wasn't very happy about the production, but in terms of heavy music, Physicist simply rocks.

Look on the bright side. This probably means there is something even cooler on the way!

Well, Addicted is on the way, even if it takes another year to come out, that's enough for me. But I understand the new website and Coast video(wich I missed when the website was online for a few moments, ofcourse) should be here any day now.
So there's too much sweetness coming our way for this to be a biggie. So no biggie.
And even more, now I won't get that 'forced-to-stop-ejaculating-halfway-through-feeling' when Resolve stops on 'I won't resolve to deceive what you'll be, the ocean re...'. So no biggie in more than one way I guess.
Oh yeah, I haven't complimented your music yet dan, since evryone else was doing it, so I'll just take this oppurtunity: You kick ass dude!
Well, enough words spilled on something insignificant, I will proceed waiting and drooling.

for anyone who isn't following the official Ki thread i recommend to do so. Read the last few pages and see the updates. There are a few vague posts regarding Addicted.

Happy birthday dude! ;)

Hey all, I've had a really really really (really) intense couple of weeks...making some big decisions in my world over the next month.

I listened to Ki alot.

I will have it all figured and planned within the month.

Life is too short to be an obsessive workaholic.

I want to enjoy life and play music that people love, I want to play live, but not metal.

To do metal the way people want, I need to do drugs...I won't do drugs though. Sorry.

I have, however found a style that suits me and I will be pursuing it.

I've been playing lots of guitar, and it is quiet and clean. Is it 'brilliant'...I don't think so, but people like it when I play it.

The end of Ki almost implies 'whats going to happen next?' and actually...the answer has surprised me...it's different than I expected.

Dev wrote that in the "Ki" forum the other day and it left me somewhat worried with lots of questions.... I love Ki, I think it's amazing, and I am totally fine with Dev planning on maybe writing a little more along those lines in the future... but im worried about the rest of the DTP albums.. mainly Deconstruction.. Does this post mean anything for the next 3 albums? Has the direction of the DTP changed? Will Deconstruction still be an insane metal opus? Is Addicted still going to be heavy and poppy? Maybe you could clear this up for us Dev? Like I said, not writing "metal" sounding music in the future is fine with me Dev, everything you write is incredible so I know it'll all be amazing, but I like the idea of Deconstruction kinda being the last really heavy metal album.. kinda a last taste ya know?

I don't really see why people care so much about the possible change of direction for any of the forthcoming projects. You don't have to always know exactly what's coming from an album, I think. I believe it makes it far more fun if you haven't a clue what's coming or what to expect.

True, but I think it's because people loved what they were shown in the previews. If something then suddenly changed I think people would be a little disappointed. But in the land of HevyDevy NO ONE IS DISAPPOINTED.
