Does anyone know if dev has stuck to the 3 minute 33 second song length he talked about in a interview a while back?

Im not sure if Addicted is going to be devs interpretation of a pop/rock album or if hes using the production technique of commercial music with his own arrangements and instrumentation.

Any ideas?

I think it will be a mixture of the two to be honest, but more of the latter I reckon.

Addicted will be a catchy, rocking one.

Maybe something between Accelerated Evolution and Ocean Machine ? Hard to say...

Dev will put more light on this subject, sooner or later.

Yes... speculation can be annoying, but it's normal these days, when everyone is waiting for a new album... It's a real tension.

It's not like, we're waiting on something ordinary, right ? :)

Theres not alot I can say about this...but If all songs are like and/or are similar to the devin teaser videos, then this album is going to contain alot of headbanging moments which is gonna rock

*wishes he has a headbanging emoticon*

"Addicted is ridiculous. Everyone who has played on it is a musical mutant of awesomeness." - Devin's quote taken from Ki forum.

I'll be laughing loud, when he'll make an album, that will be something very different than we expected.

the snippets from the videos sounded mostly like physicist. which is cool imo, since that album rocked. the dev said he wasn't satisfied with the way it turned out, production-wise, but since his mixing skills have grown lately, this will not be an issue this time.

I read that interview as well where he said all the songs will be 3:33 and just catchy pop metal. But then I saw another interview after that where he said he wrote maybe two songs that way until he said fuck it and decided to make what he wanted to make.

It must be great to be able to play, sing and be a producer... that's why, there's no real borders and limits in his music.

I guess, with all his abilities and experience, Dev can easily remaster Physicist into the level that album will sound perfectly... just like he wanted.

That would surely be a new challenge for our maestro.
