Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

...man, i REEEEEEEEAAAAAAAALLY am loving this song. :D

It hits my "music spot" for all 6 minutes 18 seconds of it.

Music Spot - My word for my music version of a G spot. It gets hit - and it feels SOOOOO good. lol.

:D
COOL! It rules on so many levels.

I have to put this song up, not only because it's great, but because at 4:17, there's a guy in the audience with a Strapping Young Lad shirt on! Ha, I just noticed it now too.

And I should mention this one too... because I shamelessly own the same bass as Colin Edwin. And yes, the Bongo is what one could ever want in a bass.

NP:
Strapping Young Lad - City
Devin Townsend - Ki, Terria
King Crimson - Discipline - tons of Chapman stick!
EDIT:: MARIUSZ!! Riverside... hell, even Mariusz interviews on youtube. Can't get enough!

Sikth - Skies of the Millennium Night
Sevendust - Gone
Arsonists Get All The Girls - Portals

I really never thought I would like Arsonsists, because they had such a "scene" sound about them and such. But I really enjoy their new album.

^^ What songs/CD's would you recommend to a noob? I don't anything about them, but somehow... I'm enticed :)

That entire album is a great starting point. They're very jazzy, all over the place and sort of chaotic in part. It's difficult to describe them or classify them strictly. If you don't like Ironical Communication, track 1 on Painter's Palette, you probably won't like much else by them. And don't be put off by the screamy vocals if you're not into that kind of thing because that's not what they're about; it's musical changeability which makes them beautiful. The abrupt transitions in tempo, form and dynamic is fantastic. And their other not screamy vocals are lovely and make up for any unnecessary angst. Praha (Ancient Gold) from PP and Insomnia's Desert from Rephormula are my favourite tracks.

I'm presently listening to "Word Up", originally by Cameo but I've had the good fortune to stumble upon this masterpiece. I learned to play it on guitar (not difficult) today, but singing it is a problem.
