I was drinking beer in the garden and I heard a snuffling sound...didn't know what it was...so carried on drinking.

After a while something nudged my foot and it was a Hedgehog (one of these: http://terpconnect.umd.edu/~lkopp/Hedgehog.jpg)

and it climbed on my foot...stayed there for a while...and waddled off to eat a slug.

They're noisey buggers! They snuffle and grunt and they're blind as fuck!

Still...damned cute though!

Odd story, but hedgehogs are awesome. Ever since I first played Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis I wanted a pet hedgehog.

Haha, where my friends house is they get loads of hedgehogs, so she puts piles of cat food outside which they happily eat.

One decided to dive into the house, so, naturally I picked it up. Wasn't too spikey, til my friend decided to stroke it, at which put it curled up and trapped my hand inside.

Yeah, I probably shouldnt of picked it up, but it was like "Hey! You can't come in here silly hedgehog." Not the first time I've randomly picked up wild animals though...

And yeah, athey look spikey, but I didn't think they'd be as spikey as they really are... As daft as that sounds.
