I've just had a chance to hear/see the youtube clips...been off the radar for a bit. This album is going to be even more wonderful than Ki, I have a feeling...can't wait to pre-order! Oh, and that guitar is just beautiful.

Anneke will add to this album even more energy and power. She has not only melodic but very strong and deep voice.

It's going to be a very special album not only for me, I feel... I'm really into The Gathering stuff and I'm confident it will conquer our souls from the first listening.

Anyway Dev... I read an interview in Rock Hard (with Philippe Lageat): you said Addicted main theme was sex, dealt with in a very straight way, taking the opposite of Nickelback's cheesy lyrics. Could you tell us more about the lyrics? And what about Addicted first single 'Countain Us' (or 'Count Anus'?? )??

Of course that vibe is only from a minute of the song. Don't know how long it is or exactly what the lyrical content is about!

well it's about Addiction, and sex is definitely an addiction to some...but the theme just incorporates that more than focuses on it.

Well I was talking more directly about just the lyrical themes of the song Resolve.

And really looking forward to the new video clips!

Idea of an Addicted Artwork? A submarine town with lots of dolphins around? Or the ocean with big waves (contrast with ocean machines) in the night with a lots of shining stars? Or Ryan Peake the singer of nickelback nude (contrast of infinity... lol) with a little guitar (maybe a banjo) in the supermarket or in a sexshop ?
