Goldie- Timeless
Awake - Dream Theater (there are a couple places on this CD that really remind me of Townsend.) Also the end of Octavarium pt. IV Intervals. Love Dream Theater or hate them, the part mentioned above really sounds like it was influenced by Townsend.

Between my brother and I, I think I'm a little more rabid a Townsend fan than he is (the Strapping stuff and Physicist etc. style is not as much his thing) so he really loves Ki. He actually said that Ki in some ways, is much darker and more sinister than Strapping stuff. Him and I both have had to listen to it a couple times not because we didn't like it upon first listen, but to get where it's coming from and where it's going. It's nice to get family or friends into Townsend who might not have been exposed to him on their own.
