My results from the last time I did this. Very slightly left wing, and quite libertarian.

Some of the questions are a bit dodgy in my opinion though.

e.g. "A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system.", it's possible to believe that this is true, without believing that a one-party state is desirable.

I suspect the way the questions are structured makes it rather difficult for most normal people to be anything other than inside that particular box.

A survey like that is only as good as the questions asked... and the ones not asked.

Indeed, I didn't finish the test since I could feel what they wanted one to answer. It felt a bit pointless that way.

My political compass is most certainly broken though. Including glass shards For some issues I think left-winged, for others right-winged which led to me not being too interested in politics since I don't feel like getting behind something that I maybe support for 20%.

There's a good test that was made by some university researchers in Belgium actually. That one really has been finetuned and took lots of statistical things in consideration but it's only in Dutch and geared towards the upcoming elections. So it's not interesting for people outside of the country. Well, it's not even interesting for the southern part of the country since they vote for their own parties and politicians and talk a different language

Maybe not as much as you think. If you're an average human being with average morals, having a question like "Our race has many superior qualities, compared with other races." would seem ridiculous, but from the perspective of say, a (REPLACE country here) nationalist or a (REPLACE race/creed here) supremacist, it's not a question of morality, but fact (to them).

So the test IS a bit dodgy, but if you really are an authoritarian, the truth comes out... albeit you did say "most NORMAL people"
