Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

If you guys like dredg, try it. I had to give it a few listens before I started enjoying it, but I can't stop listening to it.
I can see how it would turn off a lot of people, tho. His lyrics get really goofy on the album, but it's solid as hell to me.

The guy who said that really liked Dredg. Personally I've not heard much of them but what I heard I kinda liked. I'll be checking this out.

You mean what I said to you in Eindhoven? You can forget that. The songs I disliked live kick ass on the album. :D

KI, 2nd listen noticed alot more details this time around, it seems like an album that will take many listens to fully digest.
The Mars Volta - Octahedron, not quite sure if im supposed to be dissapointed or pleasantly surprised..it could go either way at this point

Nothing Dredg make can ever aspire to be worse than Zebraskin.

Second Life Syndrome - Riverside.

Can't wait to get Anno Domini High Definition, next paycheck, methinks

BUT! I did notice that in Rasputin, there is now a Riverside section. I never thought I'd see one - and sure they only have SLS, and Out of Myself... but that's an improvement!

You're late.

Haha.

Whats wrong with listening to an album at a time other than immediately within the first few weeks of its release?

Guess I should delete everything on my computer except Ki then...

Yeah. For some reason I never came across this band until recently though...

I really feel like I need to expand my library. I need a shit load of fresh, new, awesome bands. (With good production :P )

I might make a thread... I'd love somewhere to keep coming back to every now and again and having like 10 bands I happened to have not heard of. Bands tend to get passed me without my knowledge these days...

I've given up on trying to keep up with all the new releases. It's simply too much to keep track of and I'd feel like I wouldn't be able to give all that music the attention it deserves. So now I have sort of a queue system where whenever I feel like listening something new I can pick something of that list and see if it's alright. Animals As Leaders is on there, yeah. :P

Right now I'm overjoyed with rediscovering a love for Infinity in its originally envisioned form. Dayumn. <3
