Yeah I knew that, gyros is a Greek dish, but I don't think it's plural for gyro ;)

I just had this:

CASARECCIA POLLO PICCANTE
Chilli marinated chicken, santos tomatoes, spinach and tomato in a piquant cream sauce.

Very good.

We have ridiculous amounts of sugar-related things in the kitchen cos there's two birthdays in two days in my house this week. After my lovely chicken piri-piri dinner I shall have much diabetes-inducing loveliness. :D

You shall have a fishie on a little dishie, you shall have a haddock when the boat comes in! I think that's a Scottish folk song... Dance to your Daddy?

I'm currently eating spaghettisagne. It's spaghetti with lasagne sauce, OMGSEX. However, I'm waiting for guests to arrive and ruin everything. Because that will inevitably happen seeing as I'm eating dinner. Then cookies are for dessert, yum. :D

Oh my goodness. I'm not sure I know why. :(

I think I'm going to get 4 litres of milk when I go across to the shop in a minute. So I'll be able to drink as much as I like with my cookies when I get back. :D

Because the song is from there, as far as I know. Admittedly Northumberland used to be in Scotland for a while a long time ago but I don't think that enables us to claim the song.
