No idea if she's been saying stuff to make them hate me, but shes not like that, i think everyone may genuinely just not give a shit... which sucks, seeing how i cared about them lot.

People on here that have never met me seem to care more for god sake! - whats going on over there?!

Fuck it all. Guess i'll just be a loner for the next 10 years. Mini home studio (soon to be) will keep me company.

What going on there? caring more? erm...I think its quite simple, your friends must be assholes.

Hey man, don't fret, we've all been there, fucking sucks, but alot of it maybe in your head. lol and don't dramatize it, please don't go out of your way to feel like no one cares because lol thats never the case. Theres always someone you can count on whether you want to acknowledge them or not. (lol I mean local flesh pods not Devin Townsend internet fanbabies :))
Give it time. if the people you want aren't responsive, fuck em. (especially if you have to communicate with them through facebook :| )

My mom always says "If niggas is cold, don't have they shit together, or don't care, don't get (emotionally) spent trying to pull when they aren't pushing "
Shit, don't waste your time.
Your energy's worth more. Yeah, and I really don't know you, lol I'm a "noob" on top of that.

And well gosh, quite frankly I don't think you have any idea what it's like to be a loner. :|
It's a personality type, not a kid that's lonely cuz his girl "threw him away". Shit man how old are you? I'm sure your young and unspoiled enough( I dunno are you curdled like milk?) to make some flesh pods independent of your ex's. Talk to stuffed bears if you have too.

btw why did you spike Ziltoid's coffee, were you trying to rape him?

He's right. Think of it this way: You're better than them. End of story. Haha. I'm serious.

That attitude will definitely score you a multitude of new friends:
"Hey, I don't really have any friends because I'm so much BETTER than everyone else I used to associate with."

There's confidence and then there's self-delusion.

Un-awesome is my undying love of Huey Lewis and the News. Also alcohol. I think I'm going to stop drinking forever. I'm destroying my body. I'm wasting all my money. I'm putting myself in danger because I lose all inhibitions and consciousness; I really don't think I can trust my idiotic drunk self to take care of me. And I'm the only me I have. I genuinely think I'm spiralling into alcoholism, if I'm not already there. It's going to be so fucking hard to quit, but I really really have to do this. For my pocket, my health and generally my life. Retarded outpouring, I know. But I'm so sick of being so dependant on that fucking devil's water.

Wait, wait, wait... Snakes pee? And drink water? WHAT!

They need water, yes, but they don't really urinate. They are like birds in that the 'pee' and poo is pretty much one thing and comes out of one exit.

Same "exit" lol, but it doesn't come out mixed all the time. The only way I can tell its pee at all is, because instead of foul smelling yellow pee-water Keeker and the rest of you hu-mons produce, snakes have a solid chalky part to their pee. Her bowl is dark blue.
Shes a peemachine.

That's a pretty huge generalization, considering there's no understanding of the circumstances or the people involved in the situation. If someone used to have a bunch of heroine addicts as friends, and they left that because they wanted to be around healthier people who would succeed in life, does that constitute as self-delusion? Not saying that's the circumstance, we all have to learn things about ourselves from situations like these, but it doesn't mean we can't think we're a better person for leaving those who we feel betrayed us.

From Aden's post it just sounds like a bunch of people who like his girlfriend no longer have any time for him because he's not going out with her any more. It doesn't really appear to me that; in the context of this scenario, he's better than anyone. :? Obviously the heroin addict story means that the person does have more integrity and strength than their old friends.

Thank you! I reckon I'll be fine (until Friday night, when I have to sip seven up while everyone else gets drunk. Help meeeee!).

As for the Eminem thing, you're definitely right about Proof's death. The poor guy, he got himself into such a shitty industry. Not only does it give black people a terrible reputation (because correct me if I'm wrong or just being a fucking racist, but rap is pretty much the only niche in the Western World in terms of careers where black people dominate it exclusively), it also encircles everyone it sucks in and puts them through hell - losing loved ones, drugs, being shot, getting in fights, dying of overdoses...

Hm, no I'd say you hit the rap "nail" on the head. You also forgot that it perpetuates racial stereotypes that many, many black people resent.

Zyprexa - Good luck, seriously. The fact you've noticed it yourself is a good start.

I'm really pissed off at someone who's meant to be a friend. I'm probably being over sensitive here, but being purposfully lied too, so I'd "Get off his back, because you wouldn't understand." has really fucked me off.

Hes known me for bloody years, and he should know enough himself that he is, A.) Too pig headed to give a crap about what I would say/advise/whatever anyway, B.) Know that friends don't have to understand to support, and C.) That I'd never judge him, and I never have done.

This is all so he can go and find some girl in Spain, that he hasn't been able to contact in about a month, so he can find out "If his feelings for her are real or not."

It's not a problem, I think it's a bit drastic, but fine, if that is what you need to do. But he could of waited to speak to her properly to arrange some form of meeting, rather than doing what he did today and walk 15km trying to find her. Oh, and at least take map.

Bloody hell.

Sorry, rant over.

The left side of my body has always been weaker than the right side. I'm not sure why. Doing some jaw exercises, though. No, I don't do drugs, because as you stated it makes you a fucking tool (Unless your name is Hunter S. Thomson). As for your event Friday night, though, having a 7 up or ice tea or can of something will make things easier, since holding the drink is part of the mentality. You'll be fine. Maybe bring a sober friend if you have one.

You all just stepped on a landmine.

First of all, no. That's not what rap in itself represents. Not all rap perpetuates stereotypes and is giving black people a terrible reputation. That what the mainstream of rap is, and therefore what anyone who wants to speak on the genre without properly exploring it will see. Do you think metal should be judged by the actions of Varg Vikernes, Faust, Euronymous, or any of the kids who listen to Marilyn Manson and go shoot up a school? Or even just Marilyn Manson and Slipknot and the likes? Perhaps they have some useful bits of wisdom in their music, but it's disguised behind glorified violence, sex and drug use, and shock value. Rap is the same way a lot of times. In fact, metal and rap are the exact same fucking genre, except one is more mainstream than the other. They're both the voice of the underdogs of society. They're both what you turn to when you don't like what society is telling you. That's why when people in the two genres are not being ignorant, they can embrace each other (Slayer with Ice-T, Anthrax with Public Enemy, Korn with Ice Cube, MOP with whoever's doing their shit, Dialated Peoples, Jedi Mind Tricks, and MURS with Terror, Ice-T again with Hatebreed, Saul Williams with Zack De La Rocha, Wyclef with Serg Tankian, Dalek with Godflesh, Lil John with Ozzy, and lest we forget a man named Rick Rubin, to name a few). Rap is first of all a very young genre in comparison to others, and second of all a very diverse genre depending on how far you want to explore it. Write it off all you want, but do not speak on it if you're not willing to give it a good look-through. Go over to the music recommendation thread if you want a surprise, or keep arguing about how "rap is just crap without the c".

Second of all, rap is not putting people in a hole where they go through that drama. In a lot of circumstances, it actually pulls them out of that hole. That hole is places like the projects of Detroit, Brownsville in Brooklyn, and the west side of Chicago (where I grew up). And it disenfranchises black people, because it makes them think that the only way they'll ever get out of there is if they become a rapper or an athlete. This is despite the fact that the president of the united states is black, and that there is more chances for blacks to succeed than any time ever (United Negro College Fund is only one of many scholarships). Yes, a black man would face more oppression than a white man when trying to get to a good position in life, especially since in a lot of cases, anyone trying to succeed will be called an uncle tom by people in their same age group. But also when you live in a place like that, you don't get raised in the environment best suited to get you out of it. But that's not the rap industry's fault. They're not sucked into that, they're mostly BORN into that.

And to speak on Proofs death, I loved him, and he might've been the best rapper in the group, but he died because he got belligerent at the club. Not saying he deserved it by any means, but he made stupid decisions like getting drunk and trying to shoot someone.

That's fucking un-awesome.

American Spirit makes a "well-packaged" natural tobacco cigarette that frankly, tastes awful. I'd take a Turkish Silver to it any day. But, if you're looking a really good smoke, you should roll your own. It's rewarding.

That said, I haven't smoked in months, so my opinion may be a ways off by now.

On the subject of rap, I think islandsinthesky made good points. I know that it's likely that I only see the tip of the iceberg, so I'm hesitant to comment.

Yeah I gotta agree with you on this, except for the tobacco part, it's not for me. I don't have a problem with people who choose to smoke, but the act itself really turns me off.

What I strongly dislike is that when you're around smokers, you're going to smell like their smoke, whether you try to avoid it or not. It permeates, It gets everywhere, in your hair... I just wish it wouldn't get all over me and linger.
