A store nearby me used to slap Dev's solo stuff with SYL in the metal section. I told them it's too different to batch it together. They gave Dev his own section with a sticker that says, "Like this? Try [REPLACE artist name]!" They wrote Devin's name down.

I'm from Melbourne Australia and i have never seen 'No Sleep Til Bedtime' - Live in Australia (Melbourne); that humors me a little and is still the only SYL cd i don't own..
I also cant find Infinity, I bought Terria on Ebay and then i learnt that my bro saw it in JB-HIFI brand new for the same price.. ha..
They ALWAYS have Synchestra and Ziltoid.. I wonder if they will stock Ki..?

Really? Cool! That's nice he's getting some cred 8)

Here in the Bay Area, before I just started getting the CDs through HDR ( ) I'd hit up the metal section of Rasputin. I got quite a few CD's there. I convinced my buddy who works there to play Infinity on the overhead store speakers :D

Sadly, the only Porcupine Tree CD's I ever see, anywhere, is FoaBP and sometimes if you're lucky - Deadwing.

Which Rasputin? Mind you they were my former rivals down the street from the now defunct, Virgin Megastore, but I was able to get Physicist there many moons ago.

The Berkeley Rasputin had TONS of Porcupine Tree, more than I've ever been able to afford.

Oh and speaking of Porcupine Tree, and perhaps I'm a bit nostalgic what with the unemployment and all, but I got a free promotional copy of In Absentia from the label that was sent out for some reason with Fear of a Blank Planet was released. That was pretty darn cool.

The Rasputin on Telegraph :D Really you've found Tree there? They do have a section for them, but usually it's pretty pathetic. Maybe people are just nabbing up their CD's so quickly, the store can't keep up *wishful* lols

Ha, rivalry eh? Well if it makes you feel any better, I hate Rasputin and I hate Berkeley. Ever notice how the Rasputin employees like to let you know what they think of the CD's you're looking for/buying - especially if they think it's crap? Bitches  That's cool though about In Absentia - wonder how that worked out.

Well I was waiting for an appointment with one of my friends at Zebra on Telegraph, so I had ventured in and they had like 4 copies of Deadwing, In Absentia, Lightbulb Sun which I almost caved in on, Signify, and the Stars Die compilation.

I think that's pretty damn respectable if you ask me. :P

EDIT: But yes, I have always hated Rasputin. They have some weird social pariah owner who kinda just rolls in high on acid and messes with things. Amoeba was always where it was at, though for some reason my work would always get the new Pain of Salvation/Steven Wilson/Ayreon/Whatever prog you wanted on release day, and damn was that cool.

Hmmm... Zebra, I hate that place too, ahhh sorry I just don't get along with Berkeley so well
That's cool though, about the Tree. Must've been a good day for them! Yeah, inside juice is that the manager comes to work high every damn day. And he can't help you out for shit, it's the other employees who seem to do anything at all (albeit crappily) Amoeba is better, but smaller.

If I had lived in San Francisco, I would've hit up your prog section for REALZ. And if I strolled in there with a Townsend shirt - we would've been buddies

Anyways, back on topic anyone?
