The song Two Weeks on Alien sounds quite Ki-ish. You know - quiet, serene, repetative and simple.

I only say this now because I wanted to see if it'd be easy to get back into Dev's past works (I recall seeing him say it's hard for him to go back to listening to them).

But yeah, Two Weeks gives me a more-compressed feeling of Ki, if that makes any sense at all.

I'm doing a little poster of you for my ad design class, and it has to be using nothing but text, no pictures images, shapes or anything. So I'm trying to use the lyrics at the end of the song Ki as the body for the poster and the words the "voices" are chanting as the effects that surround him, well you. I wanted to know if you could tell me the correct lyrics for the end bit where you are singing all operatic like. This is what I have figured out so far

Damn, that is hella perceptive. I would have never heard that.....but it sounds right. I knew those lyrics had to be goofy in some way, they always are!

I was finally able to load the damn interview........took 686876897689 hours but it was way worth it. Thanx for the clarifications Devin. What a truly inspiring interview.....now I can't wait for the next records.

That is a truly phenomenal interview. Such perspective and insight! I love his process and approach--this is basically going to be Devin Townsend in four movements. I thought that guy's arm was going to drop off though.

Ki is monumental and exultant without drawing attention to itself through excessive fist pumping onansim. I've actually found it to be a very private album which I don't want to listen to in front of anyone else. Also I just want to add that the song Ki feels like Home on the Range meets Flash Gordon by Queen during the supreme transcendental climax.

I just listened to Ki while reading that, to me the Dev part doesn't sound right, though of course I may be wrong. The part Che sings sounds correct though even if it's "blurry" most of the time.

Any chance of an earlier release of Ki now it's leaked?! May as well post them I say

^Can't happen at this point. I have never seen release dates pulled earlier for any reason. It takes some time to press all the albums and send them around I guess.
