I find its best to tackle problems like that head on, often disarms any dissenting arguments. "YOU'RE A TRANNY!" "yes I know, I've just told you this..."(actual real life scenario) Or my favourite reply "SHIT NO?! WHEN DID *THAT* HAPPEN!?"

Hahaha, excellent! Good that you can joke about your problems as well, although don't try to laugh everything off... erm, figuratively speaking that is. Fairly positive that trying for that literally... I uhh... Crap.

...

Welcome!

Life would be boring if we couldn't laugh at ourselves! Oh wait, people are doing that already... Call me what you will, it all slides off like water on a ducks back :)

(Give you an idea of what goes, my friends when describing gender situations and roles use me as a third gender  "Well, boys girls and Kel..." and I know they mean it lovingly, there's no malice behind it whatsoever!)

Its a tip for getting through difficult times: Laugh at yourself, at your predicaments in the world. Cos lets face it, life is quite funny. Especially sex. Thats HILARIOUS!

Welcome NoiseGirl. :D

Wow, that's one of the most interesting join up posts I've read. I feel like a little fly in comparasion! haha! :P

Laughing at yourself is always good. Defo helps ease stress anyway. (And apperently, helps you to lose weight ?)

Welcome to the forums! :D

(Oh, and the voice thing - That sounds kinda awesome. I wish I could scare the crap outta people lke that. xD )

What do you mean by wish you could? 8)

Oh shit son!! You went there!!

Damn, It'd be really entertainingly surprising to just whip out the Akerfeldt voice all of a sudden. Dude's voice is like an octave below mine, so that's never going to happen

Nah, i think you're just curious... im the same, we're not "in the know" about all the details of transgenderism, can't help but want to ask... we just don't want to be mean/out of line.

Yes, terrible one line jokes are where I'm at. And, if it's any help at all, I have very little confusion. I have a friend whos gone from woman to man, I know another person who is going the other way around (man to woman. Why did I clarify? I don't know.) And I've met/been confused by/genuinely astonished to meet some people who are half way and not done yet, who are halfway and more than happy to stay that way. So yay for slight knowledge!
