Dev you seem so...sober :) I think this is one of the best interviews you've ever done, very interesting indeed.

It really is a fantastic interview, very honest and really interesting to see where you are coming from with these records. Thanks dev

Well, I'll be ordering my copy when I get home with any luck!

And just to weigh in on, Ki, I'm really starting to understand it I think. I'll admit at first I just didn't get it save for a few tracks (Ki especially) and was maybe a little, disappointed I guess, for lack of a better word. I really wanted the musical gratification in the form of a very tangible conclusion to the tracks that I've gotten from your other music Dev, but this album really is exactly how you said it is, it doesn't lose it's cool, it is reserved, and that in itself becomes it's own gratification, which is becoming equally rewarding. It's taking many listens, but I'm starting to appreciate the subtle approach to the tracks, it really takes you to a different place in your mind. Even at face value though, the tracks are exceedingly beautiful, the melody in Lady Helen is excellent. My favorite track so far would have to be Trainfire though, I love it when you get catchy. So just wanted to say great work again Devin, it is a very deep record, and is taking some effort, but it is definitely worth it! Addicted sounds amazing too, I love all your previous excursion into pop music, so a full album will be a real treat!

*Edit* Watched that interview on Blabbermouth yesterday, really insightful into where the records are coming from, and definitely got me even more psyched for Addicted!

Hi devin, i just pre-ordered Ki from ebay. I sent a little message with it requesting you to sign my CD so i hope you get to read it. Even if you cant thats fine its a great album anyway but i was too slow sorting my ebay account out to get one of the autographed ones :( So if you read it and you do sign it that would be fantastic!

Thanks
Lawrence

Fuck... finally gave in. Sorry Dev! Piracy is not my bag, but it was physically hurting me waiting around :P

I am not disappointed in the least. Fantastic, broad, green and yellow, strangely full-bodied for something so aethetically sparse, complete - yet room for more. Those are my immediate feelings.

Purchasing-probability now up to 150%

lol i know what you mean. on thursday afternoon i was so tired and i ended up falling asleep with ki in my head. The part where Dev goes, "The night is soft". Felt like I could actually hear it and it lulled me right to sleep.

I dunno about Europe, but UK cd prices are usually pretty cheap. Check out HMV...some sweet deals on there sometimes. They had Pink Floyd's The Wall on sale for 8 pounds last I checked in at one of their stores. Nuts!

For example in Finland new CD`s costs about 16,90 - 21,90 euros. That`s pretty much, ha? But of course you can always order cheaper somewhere else.
