^^ nope

I just remembered - my parents told me that I ran my forehead into the corner of this ancient ass, wooden table in our house. Apparently it was bloody, and I still have a scar, but I don't remember the incident :D

Also, when I used to play baseball, I made this epic slide into Home - but on a piece of glass... in my knee. Got a scar from that too =/

I've been thinking about this thread off and on through out the day. Lame, huh?

My friends, Mitch and Grant (they're twins) had a pretty bad incident when they were young... but Mitch came out a lot worse

They were in the car with their mum, following some kind of truck carrying small stones/rocks... and a little rock fell out

They hit it, and span off the road into a bridge/tunnel entrance wall thingy...

Mitch now has a pretty noticeable dent in his forehead (and i mean, an actual DENT)... and a big scar on his top lip going from along side his nose down to the actual lip.

He gets weird headaches every now and again because of it, and when he looks as far left or right (i cant remember) as he can (just moving his eyes) it causes him pain...

Its pretty crazy :|

Oooohh what I remember one painful experience! :D

ME and few friends decided to go camping in wiltshire awhile ago, (Searching for aliens. And we actually saw some pretty freak stuff. awesome though.) However one night, one of the fields was filled with cows. One of them got up and started mooing, and walking over. Then the rest of the field popped up and started walking over too.

Naturally, me and my friends panicked (Yeah from COWS :P ) so we decided to run away. Our only option being over a barbed wire fence.

Got scars from that one. :D

I never really learnt to ride a bike. I can walk everywhere, and was never really pushed too. Just a bit of backing for you.

We go to this big family park thing, and you need to get to most places by bike, otherwise you can be walking for an hour to get from one place to another, big waste of time, blah blah. My mum forced me to ride a bike. Remember, I have no bike experience at all. I'm too big for training wheels, so I ahve to learn there and then.

First time I'm actually able to ride, I go about fifty meters, lose control, hit a rail on the side, flip over the front of the bike, and land in a ditch on the other side. I managed to keep my head up and stay loose, so no damage really, but then drop m yhead back and smash it on a rock. Fucking painful.

This woman rushes over, panicing, asking if I'm alright. Moments later, my family rides up, laughing. And I laughed too. We are far too British.

BlueRaja wrote:My wrist is getting better, Leechy. Thanks for asking. I have a brutal looking scar tho.

I've broken my left pinky toe twice, right pinky toe once, left foot once, left arm once, and right wrist once. I've had 3 concussions; one from passing out while roller skating, one from being swung into a metal pole at recess, and one from a metal ladder falling on my head. 2 surgeries. Had a growth removed from the bottom of my right heel in high school and THAT was the worst pain I've ever had - the local anesthetic needle going into my foot. Oh, I also stepped on a sewing needle once. Ouch.

Edit: Got elbowed in the mouth while playing volleyball a few years ago. Me and a friend went for the ball at the same time. Had an emergency procedure with the dentist pulling my front tooth back to the front.

Glad to to hear the wrist improveth. I too have had a couple or three surgeries in painful places, I'll spare you all those. But your toe story reminded me of when I dropped a huge concrete fireplace on my foot and broke a middle toe. That was one of those moments where you just stand very still and silent because the pain is so intense you can't even yell for a few seconds.

Oh yeah! And the farm dog once hit me in the face with a pitchfork and my jaw locked shut for a few weeks. That was entertaining.

(If anything, it'd be a small and inconspicuous tattoo.. dunno what of though.) But whenever I see someone with a lot of piercings I can't help but think of pain. :p I also wonder if those things continue to be 'in the way', like if you casually scratch a pierced eyebrow of pick your pierced nose... What about in 30 years, when everything is starting to hang and sag and stuff...

Curious though, what *is* the worst physical pain you've had, if not a tattoo/piercing session? Mine would probably have to be my bone marrow biopsy a few years back. There's really nothing like the feeling of a big needle poking a hole in your spine and then having some fluids sucked out of it.

Well, piercings aren't that bad. I guess if it starts to sag (ew. D: ) You can just take it out, and you'll jsut be left with a tiny scar, if that. (Or so I'd of thought.) Tattoos, obviously not so much. :P

You learn to adapt to piercings quite quickly too. I rarely catch my ears, and I've not caught my belly bar so far. My nose I caught a few times, mostly when trying to wash my face, haha. But I got around that. Until I ripped it out in my sleep. ):

Worst physical pain though... I'm not sure to be honest. I don't really remember. :P I think the worst was when I broke my elbow, but that wasn't too bad, more just annoying and uncomfortable. I don't think it was a bad break though.

And dude, ow that sounds horrid. What was wrong?

That's how my doctor determined what stage of Hodgkin's disease I had. Related to that is a whole myriad of uncomfortable things I may or may not discuss sometime, though some highlights include 2 biopsies (one involving a giant needle and the other being surgery), a sort of pain that feels like the veins in your body are too short for your limbs, and something that I cannot describe other than bone pain throughout the body for several days, due to the bones being externally stimulated by medicine to pump out white blood cells. While I'm all for new experiences, this was a suckfest I'm happy to (hopefully) have put behind me.

Having said that, a collection of funnier pain moments:

Trying to jump over some upright tiles and not making it --> 4 stitches on my forehead (very Harry Potter-ish :P )

Got run over by a horse at high speed --> knocked unconscious, walked around with a sort of limp and a big hoofprint on my leg for 3 weeks

BMX-ing in the forst and not seeing a log --> front flip smacking my face into the ground

Skateboarding on an uneven sidewalk --> tooth through lip and lost a part of 2 teeth for which fake pieces are now glued on

Extreme sports are not my thing. ;)

What kind of dog swings a pitchfork? (yeah, yeah, a big one. *rimshot*)

There's really nothing you can do when you break a toe. I never cry out in pain - I just stand there in disbelief thinking I didn't just do that again. It's always been the result of running into furniture.

 Border collie ran at high speed underneath fork leaning against the wall. It was flipped outwards rapidly and whacked me soundly in the face.

When i was 14, i was in the school hall during P.E, and we weren't allowed to wear shoes in there... and on the VERY LAST LESSON of P.E. before i left that school, somebody stamped on my foot and broke my little toe on my left foot.

I'd never broken a bone before, so i had no idea i had broken it. I knew it hurt, but i always assumed a broken bone would hurt a lot more, so i figured it was just sprained or something.

But now its all deformed. It doesn't bend. Its slightly twisted, and the nail is like a triangle shape now...

About a month, probably more ago, when i was about to watch Casino Royale. (In the movie thread, if anyone read it or can remember?... i tripped up the stairs and my food went all over the new carpet)

But anyway, my toe still hurts from that... when i bend it, so i think i did something to that, worse than i originally thought. Doubt i broke/fractured it, i think i just messed up a ligament or something by bending it too far when it smacked into the stair...

Once when i was 10 or 11... playing football, i tripped over backwards, put my hands behind me to reduce the impact, and three fingers on my right hand bent really far back. (my middle to pinky fingers). Think i sprained them all... they swelled up, and i couldn't move them for a couple of days. Its nothing that bad but i remember it hurting quite a bit.

Oooh yeah... once, back in the days when i used to skate... i was probably 14-15... i did an ollie down a 4-set, but in mid air, i randomly started spinning slowly so that i was going through the air backwards. The board came out from underneath me, and when i landed, both my ankles bent inwards and they both sprained. Was pretty hard to go anywhere for a while... lolol

After a little research (into canker sores)... i have a feeling i might be developing some also. The pics look really similar, the common causes i can relate a lot too... but i guess i wont know until it either goes, or stays for a month... lol

i hate when i bite some part of my mouth (pisses me off beyond belief because it hurts insanely bad when i do it!) and then the sores come which makes eating oranges like spiraling into a citrus nightmare :(

also something very UNCOOL happened today, went to my local indie record store and stumbled upon the "Bound By Fire" and "Legion of Flames" re-releases!naturally i was ecstatic and immediately purchased them,BBF was alot of fun of course because of the bonus tracks but when i listened to LOF i was APPALLED to find out that it was missing 4 tracks!! "Sodomanaz, Doggy Style, Evil Robots, The Flight Tonight and the last track was only like 3 minutes and left out all of the hidden bonus stuff!! i was sooo pissed off!!FUCK YOU CENTURY MEDIA    .......I unfortunately say that i can't recommend purchasing it because it leaves out some of the best tracks off that album for some damn reason...
