Disruptr
I'm tired of waiting
I'm tired of fading
I'm sick of being depressed
Through all the failling
I'm sick and beated
At least it's off my chest

Disrupture

You're kind of fading
Don't be a baby
I'm sick of being obssessed
Through all... (?)
Master debated
God knows accept I settle for less (?)
But...

I come from the
Center of the Universe
And i have no time time for these
Distractions

Disrupture

Somebody... (?)
I need to fell it at home
I need a brain massage
Somebody get me a doctor
I ain't feeling ill
But I ain't feeling this at all
No...

I come from the
Center of the Universe
And i have no time time for these
Symptoms of your Universe
I come from the
Master of the Universe
And i have no time time for these
Distractions

So it's what it means to be
Be a man about it
You don't forget the family
Be a man
So, what if it kills you all?
Be a man about it
BE A GODDAMN MAN, BOY

I come from the
Master of the Universe
And i have no time time for these
Symptoms of your Universe
I come for the
Center of the Universe
And i have no time time for these
Symptoms of your Universe
I come for the
Center of the Universe
And i have no time time for these
Distractions

SAILING AWAY FOR THE (?)

(The world, the world is ... (?))

thanks for lightening the thread there a bit devin... hehe

in regards to Ki leaking, I was wondering something. I want to buy the 8 CD package you're releasing next year with all the albums and the bonus CD's, but it seems redundant to have to pay extra to buy all the albums again. Will the 4 bonus CD's be released seperately? Because quite frankly, I'd rather just download the 4 albums at first, then buy the whole package when it comes out if that's not the case. I don't exactly have the money to buy the whole set twice...

Wow, some pretty hefty stuff going on in here. Interesting. :D

All I've been able to think about in terms of Spiritulity and whatever, is how everyone/thing really does need to have balance, and how extremes rarely work. Espeically as it balances out with other extremes. It's not good.

I was actually awake til half 7 this morning, talking about spirituality, how strange is that... :P

Thought it was "through all the mating, man, stop the 'bating" :D

[my point of view starts here] Contrary to my last post, I will have to state that no one can truly follow Jesus without willingly deciding to follow him. It's still about free will, people!
Jesus doesn't make us follow him. So yeah, I've willingly made my decision to follow Jesus till I die. I was just wondering what I would think about the J had I been born to a pagan family, for example.. but still, I believe everyone gets a chance to decide whether to follow Jesus or not - regardless of social backgrounds. Otherwise Christianity wouldn't be fair.

What I said in my last post meant that Jesus saves You - you can't save yourself. That's how Christianity sees it.
You make the decision yourself but you can't save yourself; confusing, eh?
Even though you have the free will to choose whether you believe Jesus rocks or not, only the mercy of the maker can save you.
Mercy is a big word in these circles. Mercy is a righteous power that can erase any bad deeds from the ones who want them to be erased. Christianity says that mercy saves and Jesus = mercy. So all you have to do to be saved is to tell Jesus you wan't salvation. Nothing more is required.

Humans are supposed to use their superior brain noodle to decide whether they want to follow JC or not - and what's more, to help other humans.
I believe the purpose of life is just to help others. [my point of view ends here]

I totally agree with the second part of that, but why is the first necessary? Why does god give a shit if we follow him or not?

Well, in terms of downloading...what do I think?

It fucking sucks.

But it's stupid to say, 'don't do it', it's going to happen.

Download u2 and Metallica, but an independant artist? I'm cool if you do it, but just to know if you want it I guess...check it out, honor system?

I don't know, I'm broke, and I'm not going to do the things (syl) that will bring me in a shitload of money for, (I don't know...) 'spiritual' reasons.

I'm qualified to do nothing else. Honestly, If you want to download it and get the word out, awesome! The more the merrier...I do this for the art primarily. But the more I sell, the more I tour, the better they sound, and the more time I can spend doing it.

But TRULY, who cares? My brother in law says 'fuck the musicians, download everything' and I love him, so...I don't know. Do what thou wanna.

If I don't sell anything, maybe thats a good thing? Folks tend to pay attention to what I say and write, and again...fucked if I know what life is about...maybe not being a musician would be less hassle..

(like I could ever stop...)

But I tell you, it will be harder to do what I do while slinging shit for a living, but I'll do what I have to (within reason) for my family.

I'd like to clarify though, that when I said 'go ahead and download' that wasn't a passive aggresive guilt thing...I'm serious, go ahead. But liking it, and not supporting the 'cause' doesn't seem overly grateful.

My buddy yesterday told me he downloaded everything I have ever done in about 2 hours...and he's still my buddy. It's INEVITABLE, anyone who fights it is facing artistic extintion anyways.

I guess though, because I sell VERY LITTLE anyways, if the only people that DO support it stop buying it, I won't be able to do it anymore (let alone tour...there's no incentive for the promoter other than sales to go on)

I figure, because it's inevitable, I'll try and be active on the internet...give away some free music, and hope that some people buy the stuff. Again...GO AHEAD AND DOWNLOAD, it's not a moral judgement, I personally think it sucks because I make a living from it, so that seems fair on my part.

Check it out, if you don't like it, especially in this economic climate, I TOTALLY understand you not buying it...but of you like it, EVEN IF YOU DON'T BUY THE ALBUM, please buy something...we'll have new merch up soon.

If I was independently wealthy (metallica, u2) you could have it for free. But right now, I'm still mowing grass, taking out the garbage, and getting tax bills that are crazy.

I appreciate the support even if you don't buy anything...truly, tell a friend I don't suck. Tell a friend I do suck, maybe they hate you secretly and will check it out based on that :)

sorry, long morning...

love,
dev

Well, straight up, I've downloaded all your albums(I own City and Ziltoid). But here's where my defense of that comes in.

If I hadn't downloaded music in the first place (independent or not), I'd have never discovered your music, or the music of the other independent artists i listen to, thus I wouldn't have even bought the two albums(of yours) I currently own, nor would I have gone to any of your concerts (I haven't yet, but I'll be fucking first in line if you come anywhere near niagara falls).

My stance is that I download music pretty much freely, and try to buy the albums that I like or I'm interested in as much as possible. I simply don't have enough money to buy all the albums I've downloaded (I have some 6000 songs on my computer), but I've been working my way through that collection as much as money allows me to. I have every intention of, at some point in my life, owning all of your albums, but as a fan of music, I'd severely limit myself if I only listened to albums that I bought.

Now, I know I'm in the minority, since 99% of my friends just say "download it and fuck it", and never buy albums. But I fully believe that if it wasn't for downloading music, that artists like you, or my other favorite band (subterranean masquerade), wouldn't have nearly the exposure that you currently have. And I try to buy albums as much as I can.

I don't know the numbers, but I like to think that the exposure gained from people downloaded music, and the extra concert tickets (and hopefully, eventual album purchases) even this out. I might be terribly wrong, and with a fanbase of a quarter the size who buys the album might in fact net you a bigger profit.

However, I also like to think that your music getting out to so many people might, in some way, make up for the (likely small) amount of money you lose. I know, that if I ever put out an album, I'd rather see thousands of people enjoying it, than see a hundred people buy it.

Nothing to worry man, the peole who download the albums are we, we are your fans, and every one that already download it said that will buy it. So, the download is more 'cause of the anxiety than for "save some money and get free music".
Plus there's some countries where your albums aren't for sale (i'm never gonna get tired of saying this) but that's another story...

Thats cool, I'm just sayin'.

Guys,

in terms of religion:

Whatever gets you through... enjoy!

In terms of downloading:

Do whatever the heck you want...enjoy!

I'll be around in a few days...

play nice!

Me too and i bought every album and dvd of yours since (plus Zimmers Hole, Terror Syndrome and some other "related" stuff). I think you're doing just the right thing with little extras like a collector's box or 3d-glasses. It's easier to buy something when you get a little "more" then just the data, i think. I don't need any bonus stuff to buy your music, but maybe others do and it's cool, though. I remember when i bought Terria (Tour Edition) shortly after i downladed it. I paid 15 euro and it was so much more worth than any other cd i owned: fantastic artwork, bonus-songs, bonus-videos, bonus-bonus-videos (only discovered when opened with a file-explorer), a very cool audio-commentary... That made an already musically perfect and overwhelming album become even more stellar for me.
