So, one of the things I've been busy with lately is reuniting with my long lost brother Pernell. (actually, I'm the long lost brother but long story)Anywho, We haven't seen each other in 25 years. He was just a kid all those years ago and now he's grown up and a hard livin' pro musician.(no suprise there)http://www.pernell.ca. Had him over for supper one night and he sees some of the Devy stuff in the collection, and he's like, "Devin Townsend? I used to work with him at Earl's way back when he was doin the Grey Skys thing." Turns out my brother is one of the phone messages featured on the cover Friends!!!( he's the one sayin 'Devin, I thought we hada date, Goddammit!')
Pernell had no idea he was on the record or what happened with that scene but thought it was ubber kool That voice was my brother the whole time and I was oblivious.
Small world.....

There we have it folks. A whole new level of coolness like of which has never been seen before.

Understandable, 'cause the Grey Skys and Noisescapes stuff never got officially released, but both albums are on Ass-sorded Demos' 2
