I was just listening to the teaser and I think one of my favorite things about it is the fact that there are no triggers on the drums.

Basically it's a means of replacing the drum sound being recorded or played. For example, most kick drum sounds on many metal records sound very clickety-clickety to enable them to cut through a mix. Though this effect can be achieved through various means using compression, gating or equalisation, often it's simply easier to replace or blend the original recorded sound with a kick drum sound from a sample library. This can enable an engineer to achieve a consistent kick drum sound over a whole song, or a whole album. You could even have different triggered sounds for say, a verse and a chorus.

i agree with you, I was thinking Ki was going to be very ambient, hard to tell from the jam videos he was putting up. I was wondering how he was going to put vocals in, reminds me a bit of Terria at times, but I guess its not the album that I'm reminded of, simply the musician.

The Myspace address... It gives you a list of tracks from the player which can be downloaded at a much, much higher quality than on Myspace...
