I can't possibly be the only BSG fan on the forums...

Who else watched it tonight?
Thoughts?

Make spoiler notes if you're posting any. :P

Spoilers below;
I liked the episode as a whole, though I was honestly expecting a lot more people to die... I liked the resolution of Starbuck's story, and the implication that Baltar was actually 100% correct in calling her an angel.
For a minute, I actually thought it would have a peaceful resolution... and then, of course, Tory got killed... and... everything went to hell.
Seeing Cavil resort to suicide rather than let someone else have the satisfaction of ending it for him was rather amusing. As were his constant one-liners before he died.
Gaius and Caprica finally realising that they both see the angels (I can call them that, both based on that episode and Ronald Moore's personal statements :P) was satisfying, as well as the resolution to all that.
All in all, I thought it concluded the series rather well, if a little bittersweetly... but... well, it's BSG. I guess you can't expect happy-go-lucky optimism. :P

The dancing robot ending was a tad ridiculous, to say the least. :P But it made me laugh, after an otherwise emotionally heavy episode... so... it worked, I suppose.

I've never watched the show to be honest. Not much of a TV person outside of 24.

Finale's of TV shows are always odd. Because a typical TV series lasts so much longer than a movie it can accumulate so much more in a storyline. In a way that would make TV harder to work with than movies because you never write a TV series with the end in mind.

I watch this when I get the chance. :D

and... I met William Adama. He was cool, very nice guy. :D

But yes, I shall be tuning into the finale too. I loved the episode with Starbuck playing the piano, and that song was awesome too.

Yeah I watched it. The end of a great series. Some things were obvious beforehand or too soon but still, a nice end.
It would have been better without the last scene, IMO.

I must say that I have struggled through every damn episode of this series and they should have given us more, hell we deserve more than the trite comparison of our culture to their culture and that this will all happen again crap. The only thing that could have made it more awful is working the six and baltar "angels" into a NYC street scene casting judgement on humanity. Glad I turned it off with about five minutes left. Boo!!!!
