DUDE! I literally live next door to St Helier Hospital in Carshalton! The S1 bus stop is like, outside my gaff :o But like, I pretend I live in Wimbledon cause people have heard of it and I'm there more than here...

Other vibes... Elvis, Steve Vai (that HAS to be him) and Andrea Bocelli. :guitar:

wow. the preview. I feel shaken and stirred. I'm quite looking forward to Ki and the rest of The Devin Townsend Projects. Ki sounds like a very dynamic album!I can't help but feeling like a total noob when i listen to his music though....Here I am looking forward to making my own music pretty soon, and Devin here shows me up with this crazy stuff!

Ok, so this album is probably going to be the most versatile album ever made...I've never heard so many styles and sounds all on the same album...I think Devin may have an absolute masterpiece on his hands here.

Right now I can only think that Devin may be the most well rounded, versatile musician ever.

^^ ha it's ok, stratman, he puts most people to shame

0:33 - WWWHHHAAAA?! I didn't know he could growl like that :D Props - and these are props coming from someone who isn't always willing to get down with the growl. I dug it though, it's pretty intense

EDIT: These morsels are so tasty - 1:30 is really nice. Beautiful, actually.

2:08 - nice. I secretly love jazz. Which ever song that is sounded like it could have a little hint of jazz mixed in. I'll just have to wait I guess.

He's certainly one of the modern greats.

Also, I think can safely say this is the only album preview I've ever heard that's given me chills. Well done, Dev. I'm fucking psyched for Ki (and the other 3 albums)!

Didnt give me the chills, but Dev's music has a tendency to do it more than anything else...especially Tiny Tears.

Question: it keeps calling this Devin Townsend Project. Is this going to be a separate entity from his standard solo stuff, kind of like the DTB?
