Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

Seems to hurt worse where the skin is thin over a bone.....but you'll probably be fine now that you've had one done over your spine. A friend just had one done over her lower stomach (it was her first) and she says it only hurt when it got to her hip bone.

I've seen this pretty cool tattoo on the web of glow in the dark wings on someone's shoulder blades...the only problem is in normal light the ink is sort of pinky and doesn't look that great.

I haven't had anything done on my front yet...I think the next one will be a rose stem climbing up my right (outside) thigh. Maybe I'll have a motorbike wheel at some point. Someone I work with suggested that I have Dev's assphone pic done. I said no. :D

Cool Amber!!! I like it a lot -

reminds me of a certain Devin Townsend logo... if you have any idea who I'm talking about. You've heard of Devin Townsend before, right? :D

No it's really cool, very classy. So as fun as tattoos are, just remember you have your whole life to get them! Take it sssllllooowww...

I sound like an A-hole. Sorry. :o

No you don't sound like one of those Devy, spelled Devy! It's good advice! The tattoo artist I use and his girlfriend both said that they don't want to get 'full up' before they're forty. I am only having tattoos at such a frenetic pace (3 in 6 months) because I'm 35 now. Not much time left before things start moving south, if you know what I mean.

Yeah it diffo gets worse where the skin gets thinner. :P It;s kinda obviously though I guess. It doesnt hurt anymore though, unless I twist a bit to fast. :P

Yeah I've seen the glow in the dark/UV reastive ink too. Some people can have a pretty nasty reaction to it though, which kinda sucks.
And that sounds cool, got a thing for roses by any chance? :P And... what if you got the ass phone pic, on your ass... ....NO. D:

It may of been based slightly on Devin's logo. I thought I would get an infinty done first because I've always like it, and if I wanted to turn it into a logo, I can if I want :D
Oh and don't worry, I won't go on a mad rush for tattoos or anything. I don't have any income of my own at the moment ( ) I just have a lovely mummy that gace me a early birthday pressie. The tattoo itself was only £13, as its friday the 13th. :P

And Stella your 35? I honestly thought you was like 25! I guess thats a good thing though! :D

Yes - I'd always wanted a rose on my right shoulder, and I like the idea of going for a central unifying theme with tattoos. I can still have some that depict my interests, like the Gibson twin neck, but as long as I link them in with roses I can still keep the theme going. Hmm....Devin's assphone pic with roses around it.....NO! No. Ok, maybe for a dare.

You have a lovely mummy! Mine would turn in her grave if she knew I had even one tattoo. And £13 was a pretty good deal too. I think they know they're getting repeat business!

Thanks - as long as I get my beauty sleep I get away with looking younger! I think not having kids helps too. No late nights (apart from when I sit up playing about on the web of course).

Yeah that's quite cool. I've always wanted any tattoos I may potentionally get to link in too, which is why I ended up going for the infinity symbol in the end :D

My mums a funny woman :P She currently has pink and blue/black hair, so I don't think she can really tell me off for having a tattoo! :P

Of, and I totally dare you Stella! Nah I'm just kidding. No offence to Dev of course, but I'm sure that particular image isn't something you'd want to wake up too!

I wish I'd though of that before my other half went to Florida without me. It would have been a nice surprise for him when he comes back on Sunday!

It's kinda lumpy in that pic though, only had it done about 2 hours ago, and it's swelled up quite a bit (Unsurprisingly.) I already want more. :P

DAMN YOU! I've been contemplating getting the Infinity symbol somewhere as my first...

And agreed, that's substantial for a first piece.

Very, very nice!!! :D

There's always time! Heeheehee! :P

Tyroshai - I'm sure I'm not the first person to have the symbol done, so don't worry I won't think your copying me or anything, heehee! :P

You know - I was thinking about getting a tattoo covered up - is that weird at 21? I absolutely loved it when I got it, but the enchantment is gone now.

I'm usually not impulsive enough to just go get something without thinking about it - I knew it was going to be lifelong. I guess I just miscalculated.

Anyways, it would have to be a big cover up, because it's not a small tattoo. Opinions?

i think if you dont like it, you should change it. No sense in living the rest of your life with a mistake if you dont have to. Especially if its the one on your forearm youre speaking of. It being so visible and all
