Textures - Drawing Circles

Haven't listened to it since Silhouettes came out. Shame really, it's an awesome record :D

To me, Drawing Circles has a longer lasting appeal. I love Silhouettes so much, but Drawing Circles has some more memorable songs IMO.

But not many match up to "To Erase A Lifetime" :P

Incidentally I am listening to "Awake" now. Have to agree on "To Erase A Lifetime".

Any thoughts on "Polars"? Despite weaker vocals than on next ones it has some sweet moments like "Ostensibly impregnable", "The Barrier", sax solo in "Transgression" or the "Polars" themselves with great last part with brilliant, atmospheric guitar solo (ok this song is terribly lenghty, I think they just assembled few whole songs into one to make it look more prog, but its still spiffy).

And these two tracks of gentle ambient noises are strangely hypnotic.

Polars is great too, but very different from Drawing Circles and Silhouettes. I don't really like the ambient bits, and it sounds a lot more raw (I think it was Josiah who said it sounded like a ton of wet leaves coming down a mountain... :P) and yeah, Eric is an amazing singer.
