Cerberus:

3 headed hound, the offsping of two monsters, Typhon and Echidna. He was the watchdog of the Greek underworld and stopped anyone trying to return to the land of the living. One of Heracles [Hercules] labours was to fetch Cerberus, a challenge the god of the dead, Hades, allowed him to undertake, but only on condition that he was unarmed. Like the Gorgons, Cerberus was so dreadful to behold that anyone who looked upon him was turned to stone. He was brother to the Hydra and the Chimaera.

From the Enclopaedia of Mythology by Arthur Cotterell - which I am very glad I bought.

As an interesting side note my nickname at school was Janus (the pain in the anus). Anyone who recognises the connection gets double points.

Janus? The moon of Saturn? 8)
Anyway, if I get another rottweiler- I'll probably name him Cerberus. My last one was Anubis. 13 years old, best friend EVER.

Meanwhile, back to the UN-awesomeness... (hint hint)

In Greek mythology, Janus (or Ianus) was the god of gates, doors, doorways, beginnings and endings. His most prominent remnants in modern culture are his namesakes: the month of January, which begins the new year, and the janitor, who is a caretaker of doors and halls.

He also had two heads, like Cerberus.

I remember when I was young I was talking to a guy at some festival type thingy and he was asking me about myself.. I told him my name and my birthday and he almost shat negativity all over me.. My first name is derived from the Roman God of War (Mars -> Mark), surname akin to the first murderer (Cain -> Kane) and my birthday (March 29th) is apparently swimming with negativity including intolerance, prejudice, horribly short temper and selfishness.. I still get given keyrings and mugs and shit with my name on it to this day and everyone still goes on about how negative my.. everything.. is..

Well then fuck,I guess I am a fucking happy fucking camper. :D

Another panic attack type thing keeping me awake...

Perhaps I should go see someone...

But oh dear there Leechmaster. But maybe you go by the rule of two negatives make a positive? :D

That'd be great if it wasn't for there being three negatives!

-3 X -3 X -3 : +27.

You're wrong, my young friend. Sorry.

Bugger- I got it right in an earlier post too. OK, Janus and Cerberus were both multi-headed. That better? :D

Yeah it doesn't work. I can't tell you how or why it doesn't, but I know it doesn't.

I think my failure at understanding mathmatics is pretty unawesome. D:

Panic attacks are unpleasant. You can learn ways of stopping them though but it helps if you can work out the cause first.

As for the arithmetic thing... I wouldn't have known where to start. My numerical ability is most un-awesome too.

Yeah. Unfortunatly a lot of things can set it off, (I seem to b e one anxious nervous creature :P ) So I just keep my self occupied until I can feel it cooling off. Unfortunatly, this can mean I am awake until silly late.

And as for the mathmatical business, I think this is a case of too negatives making a positive, high five? :D
