I consider them to be one of the best bands around. :D

Heavier material would be their newer CDs, and would include 'Deadwing,' 'Fear of a Blank Planet,' 'Futile EP.' 'In Absentia' is less heavy in parts, but is a consistently good album from start to finish, and incorporates some elements of their past musical style and their newer style.

And the early material really takes after Pink Floyd, very psychedelic; but not in a cheesy way. It's very prog. rockish, very free-flowing or 'experimental' at times.

There's a short synopsis of their catalog... now DIG IN!!! 8) I don't think you'll be sorry.

Making instrumental versions of songs on the new Lamb of God album from the stems they put on the bonus cd...It's awesome cause you can actually make out what the instruments are doing if you piece them together in a DAW.
