Why do we have so many members on this forum that only post here? There's a damn General Discussion forum where everyone laughs at each other and what not...post there dammit!

lol i suppose i was one of those people. i just posted some in the general discussion just for you. Since i was new here, i guess i wanted to get to know everyone by talking about Devin Townsend and his music with fellow Dev nerds. Its kinda hard to wedge your opinions into the mix when theres already a full blown debate going on amongst everyone who already knows each other

At the risk of sounding like a smart ass...which isn't my aim... I enjoy phrygian often, I enjoy the potential heaviness. Perhaps a little bit of everything on Ki?! The title track actually sounds really cool, I'm looking forward to hearing that one quite a bit!

Careful. Enjoy phrygian too much and you'll end up like Metallica. The best sorts of modes are mixed modes. Give me two scales beaten together any day.

That said, the news is great, Dev's good with any mode (as far as I'm concerned), and this album is going to be fucking awesome.
