The colors you see when you hear music really dont have anything to do with the theme of the songs. Its just something that pops in your head when you hear it. Like the song The Greys for me is like a red orange color. Its hard to explain and really strange, but kinda cool too.

I'm strangely looking forwards to an album that I could sleep to.

Though, now all I can think of is an advert saying "Devin Townsend Croons for all your Hevy-Devy Loons." And you'd be wearing a pure white tuxedo and have an old style mic...

That really is perfect timing for another new release. As I just got Insurgentes yesterday... so by the time I'm ready for a new cd to be obsessed with, Ki comes out.

This is going to be an epic, epic year for music.

I'm not sure I can imagine an organic warts and all Dev album...despite all of your descriptions I still have no idea what to expect, which is kinda cool.
