Call me super old-fasioned. I am.
nothing better than hearing an album for the 1st time in supreme crisp lossless quality

Yeah! You know what I'm talking aboutI don't know, there's just something really special about having the physical CD, opening it up, popping in a disc and letting it work it's magic.
Plus, mp3's sound like ass.
Plus, I want to pay for the thing. It's only right.
Ok, now I'm really tarting to sound old fashioned, and I'm only 20. ha!

Devin, you should release like at least a ten second snippet of one of the songs. This waiting is killing me. I've been waiting since May 2007. Ziltoid was UNBELIEVABLE, but I'm hungry for more good music. Oh woes to the music industry and their ability to sign bands that sound exactly like each other. You're my last hope in believing there's no end to good music, Dev.
Time to sleep...

I was once like you, I believed that everyone other than one particular artist was a steaming pile of shit. You need to open your mind man, people can make good music and not be Devin Townsend at the same time.

But yeah. I always look into all genres of music as well. You'd be surprised at what things you'll like that you can ccome across, and otherwise wouldn't given a chance because it's in a 'scene' or 'genre' that isn't what you usually listen too.

If you'd like to listen too it, I would recommend you start off with Gackt. He kinda covers a few genres, but its prodominatly rock.If you look up Kagen No Tsuki on youtube, it's one of his msot fantastic gigs.

On that page somewhere I put up the full setlist for the first half of that gig.

I've worked on this record more than almost any record I've ever done next to Ocean Machine. Sometimes I think it's brilliant and sometimes it freaks me out.
I have an ambient record in the works as well. (That one is a ways away though...)
It's sober.
