I think. Its a toy piano, ukulele, and Kazzo, fused together by evil.

I actually don't know what to say, but, its kinda amazing in its own, weird way.

that's awesome! check out their myspace and listen to the uke and bass cover of black sabbath's war pigs. they left out the great solo at the end, but it's still hilarious.

oh, and while we're here: didn't a certain mr. townsend announce some audio snippets a couple of weeks ago? so what's up, changed your mind, devin?

Theres no one like Duris. He's in his mid 60s and has been through it all.

Metal in the front, R&B in the back?

very very interesting. And it grooves like a mofo...A strong Buddy Rich, he's teaching me groove, I'm showing him crush.

Small steps, just a session currently.

I've played with some amazing drummers, Gene and I are two musical peas, Ryan is awesome, both are ridiculous and brothers for ever. It's just been such a set of changes for me that I wanted to work with someone outside my comfort zone. Duris is a different animal, but very intense.

Lots of colors in the boy.

I think it would be nice if it could be controlled. I have autism so I have a lot of synesthesia traits but I have no control of it. I cant turn it off or on. Sometimes it can be a pleasent experience sometimes it can be horrible. I had a hard time with it when I was younger because I didnt know how to explain it and I didnt know what it was. Its not just associating words or music with color. It can do all sorts of things.

like when I look at the texture of things I can feel it as if its rubbing against my teeth or finger nails. Sometimes looking at certain textures hurts my teeth and finger tips but when that happens I just look away from the offending texture and focus on something else. I can feel different tones, words and music against my skin and in my head. Some feel wonderful and some hurt my skin and the inside of my ears. Sometimes certain sounds make me itch, ache, feel numb, feel needles, feel warmth, or feel cold against my skin. When I was a small child I coudnt handle it and got really tripped out by it all but now its something Im totally aware of and used to but still sometimes find it ovewhelming.I know that a lot of autistic people experience traits of synesthesia but my boyfriend who is also autistic does not have any of those traits. Synesthesia is a strange thing and when I researched it on the net I found very little information on it.

That sounds very interesting indeed, it would be great to see some pieces from those sessions. :amen:
