Ill probably have to say the best stuff was the Jesu releases. and others i would say would be Gojira, Tv On The Radio, Meshuggah, NIN, Metallica and Coldplay (yes is a good album, pull your head out of your ass and give it a listen )

As with every year, I'm slow on getting around to finding my favourites. Last year has been good though.

I loved (in no particular order):
Meshuggah - obZen
Gojira - The Way of All Flesh
Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts I-IV
Nine Inch Nails - The Slip
Metallica - Death Magnetic
In Flames - A Sense of Purpose

Now I haven't found the "hidden" gems - the albums I wasn't already looking forward to - save for Gojira; I wasn't too keen on them until I saw them with In Flames.

lots of releases I loved. I really enjoyed the new Meshuggah, new Opeth, new Textures, new Darkthrone, new Satyricon, new Sigur Rós, Enslaved, Misery Index, Cult of Luna, Blood Bath, Ihsahn, Dismember, Zimmers Hole, Sahg, The Haunted....and others, I guess!
