 Oh man, no good could come of that - still a funny mental image though!

It's a shame I haven't had any Devin dreams - but last night I did dream that if you put a picture of Geddy Lee under your pillow before you go to sleep- he'd visit you in your slumber, sprinkle some "bass dust" on you and you'd become a better bass player. I was PISSED when I woke up and realized it was a dream.

That's just too weird - even for me. :?

Thank you! That's what I thought. :D

It would be pretty creepy having a 50-something year old, Canadian guy in your room at night while you sleep though, come to think of it.

I'd rather the old man who gives bass-dust than an old lady who rips out your teeth and replaces them with money or even a fat man who breaks into your house and gives you coal....

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the album title, but found it interesting that he mentioned aliens in a previous post describing the album, and the correlation with the Anunnaki. Which if anyone has delved into alternative/forbidden history, may be a familiar subject.
I'm quite taken back by the mention of the Anunnaki also. I've been studying abit about the race and culture of beings who are Anunnaki and they seem somewhat similar to the Pleiadians, yet in many stories the Anunnaki were considered somewhat evil compared to the Pleiadians who were content with life and spiritually.

Many people believe the Anunnaki were the one's who originally conceived the idea and foundation of Atlantis and bought upon the human race, technology which far exceeded their own. There are afew scientist's who have bought up some pretty crazy theories about the Anunnaki, but all seem somewhat plausible.

There is much more to the story, but is to much to mention in one sitting. If anyone else is familiar with the works or wants to know more, check out Zecharia Sitchin. He explains in detail about another planet in our solar system which played a big role in our evolution and could somewhat tell us more about our place in the universe.

This also has some connection to the 2012 theory, yet the world isn't going to blow up or end, the planet will just go through another stage in its evolution and so will we.

I'm really looking forward to Dev's new project. I can't wait. :D

There's two albums. One is an EP.

The first album is called 'Ki' and has 14 songs.

A Monday
Coast
Disruptr
Gato Negro
(Purge)tory
Stand
Waveform
Heavens End
Dinosaurs!
Lady Helen
Ki
Addicted
Quiet Riot
Demon League

It's not a band thing. It's the 'me' show, starring...me. I had talked to both Gene and Ryan about the drums, but decided in the end to go with someone totally different, style wise as well as scene wise. The dude's name is Duris Maxwell.

Ki has a bit of everything... a real purge. Complete 72 minute disk.

The EP has been written at the same time and is just an absolute chaotic bizzare alien headfuck called 'Deconstruction Of A Cheeseburger' and is primarily electronic and guitar / Orchestra orieneted. (no drummer, not DFH tho...) I'm trying to get a grant to use a real orchestra and choir. It's fucked and awesome. Based on Karl Jungs collective unconcious and how anything (a cheeseburger?) can be traced back to the source. It will probably be released on the web. We're about to start working on a new site.

Been designing amps and guitars with dudes. I'll let the cat out of the bag soon. Some cool stuff is on the horizon.

No more producing for a while

Filming the whole process for a bonus disk, (editing myself with Final Cut express...ugly bastard) ...taught by the Meatball.

Getting PT8 next week.

I'll get you more info soon.'

d

this is .... awesome..... news....!!!!!!

True, ive been permanently salivating about this release for a long time, im sooo willing to wait, however..........................

Any hint of a release, even, say a couple of months warning would be worth it cos then i have something to work towards/look forward to. We've got new Lamb of God, Chimara, God Forbid and this band Malefice (check them out they are fellow brits and are seriously good, the song Nothing Left will make you smile) to look forward to........

However the prospect of the release of Ki and this Ep involving cheese, sometime this year really, REALLY makes me quite happy indeed.

Who am i kidding though were all patient people here, this forum rules.

I've heard of Malefice actually, fairly chatty guys too I think. (I haven't spoken to them but a friend of mine has) Have you heard of Rue The Day? I saw them awhile ago at a gig thing I went to and they are actually really good. Sorta Dev-eqsue, but quite different at the same time. :D

I can't wait for Ki either. But I think that kinda goes without saying to be honest :P
