Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

The DVD is really good Skrimp, I recommend it.

What about the "I..." thread? It seems like a good outlet for "Skeksis" praise...

EDIT: Currently listening to Phantom on the Horizon by The Fall of Troy.

Good album. I recently got into them. They are great musicians but dammit if their singer doesnt sound like the dude from My Chemical Romance...Doppelganger is a great album too.

Yeah, my roommate goes apeshit for The Fall of Troy. I don't know much My Chemical Romance, but Thomas Erak is pretty unique, even if his style can wear a bit. The vocals and production got a lot better on this most recent release, I think, and so I've been giving them more attention. And I agree, Doppelganger is good, but I find Manipulator to be more hit-and-miss. Also, if you haven't checked out the Ghostship demos, you should (PotH is just a re-recording of those demos, and there are supposed to be at least 3 more parts...and a new full-length release).

Actually, when I saw Dev's news, I thought of FoT because he had a track called "Dinosaur!" (similar to "Shhh! If You're Quiet I'll Show You a Dinosaur").

The Death of Music.

I always liked the drums in this song - taken outside the context of the song, they sound like they could be in an R&B track or something; they're all smoove, and slow-jammy. But in the song, they fit perfectly. It's a good constant through out the song 8)

I only have Doppelganger and Phantom. I guess I'll check the demos out.
