Only advice I can think about is layer teh unlayered things. Multiplying guitar tracks instantly makes stuff sound twice less unfinished, also adding some kind of bass helps.

Oh and spending lots of time on trying to make drums sound properly (which is pain in the ass and I fail at it).

Aye, I know I'm lacking in bass. Sad to say, I simply haven't bothered putting bass stuff on there yet. I'm not all that imaginative a bassist. =/

And drum wise, I've played drums for eight years, so having to do them on some naff little keyboard fills me with rage! Hopefully I'll get some live recordings for them soon.
