Hidely-ho! I'm a humanoid within accepted norms, have been a fan of The Dev's work for maybe six years, and am currently freezing my bum off in Pennsylvania (The Land of Eternal Winter -- hang a left at Pluto and go two clicks past Charon, you can't miss it).

Freezing you say?! Would you laugh at me if I said it's damn cold here in California, at a reading of 47 F?! My feet and hands are like icicles! =O

I'm a native Southern Californian (as is my mother, which makes me "2nd generation"), so I know all about what decent weather should be like. A place with decent weather is a place where 47 F is considered a "cold snap", not a "heat wave". A place with decent weather is a place where you never have a high of 22 F for the day. A place with decent weather is a place where it's not so cold you want to kill yourself, only it's impossible to commit suicide by slitting one's wrists because the blood instantly freezes over the wound. Ain't I a cheery fellow?

Actually I am generally a happy bastard. Mathematics & music bring great joy, though I couldn't carry a tune with a kazoo to save me. [REPLACE smiley-face wearing horn-rimmed glasses and a propeller-beanie here]

Dude, mathmaticians are all secret Church Organ players. (The Church Organ, of course, being SUPER HARD. >_<)

Widdershins, as in the directional rotation of the Discworld?

Widdershins, as in "left-handed, wrong, or contrary direction". Also the Old English word for Wienerschnitzel.
