There are just MASSIVE tracks of land with no one on them. Mostly because, if you go any ways north, it gets VERY cold, and you're on a bed of solid granite that's no damn good for anything. Except the aforementioned mining. Very exciting.

I dunno. I'm sure there is some damn heavy rock going on up north. Neh? Neeeeh? =D

So, I was thinking Canada (BC) might be a nice place to live when I get tired of the states.

Suddenly, I think I've changed my mind. Weird.

Although, Stevie, you seem to break that ratio in your avatar. xD

Umm... no?
At least, I don't THINK so. I mean, it's very possible that I just attract women from miles around, so I've never noticed the otherwise sparse XX chromosome population.

But seriously, no. We have babes by the logging-truckfull.

Btw, I just checked out DevEstate and I can honestly say I have not been envious of anyone or anything for a very long time, but looking through the pics of his set-up there made my jaw drop and my face turn green. That is one sweet deal of a home he's got happening there. And let's not even mention the equipment rig. Holy shit. There's nothing he won't be able to do out there!

Hmm, where´s these pictures, you´re all talking about?

I bet they dig flannel, too.

I'll grow a beard an head on up!

Plus, the longboarding in BC looks awesome. I've got a serious urge to blow a whole bunch of cash on a trip to Canada now. Damn.

Ratio thing: uh... no. If anything there's probably about 1-2 women for every man. Especially in the major cities, and even moreso in student-heavy regions. Most of Canada's major universities have something like three women for every man there.

And yeah... BC is nuts. Once I grad, either just before uni or after my first year of it, I'm gonna go do some adventure stuff to see more of the wilderness out here.

yeah seems like this has become the Canada thread, does look like an amazing place though, i live in cornwall in England which is pretty picturesque but that Devestate really looks amazing and serene as hell. If i ever wanted to record an album anywhere it sure as hell would be there with the main man himself! But enough Canada chit chat, im awaiting with baited breath Dev's next post.... feels like its gonna be a biggie..... :D

Maybe something along the lines of...

It will fucking kick ass!

Or it might not. But knowing Dev's previous work, I lean towards the former.

Hey Dev, I'm starting to get into Ravi Shankar. If you read this, can you recommend a good album to start with, or what your favorite one is? Thanks :D
