Oh I will lecture!! A little bit :P

I do think that Linux has the superior kernel compared to Windows and Mac OS. The stability and flexibility are unprecedented.
But I also think that Windows and Mac OS have ways to provide easier configuration.

But I also think that when things are broken in Windows, or Mac OS, they're much harder to fix. Usually it'll come down to re-installing and praying that'll fix it. And it's kind of become a hobby of mine, trying to enable a new feature on my computer, breaking things horribly and then fixing it again :D

Amarok is the audio player that I (and many other Linux users) use. It's based on the KDE framework. And KDE 4 will be cross-platform (right now it's still buggy but eventually it will be functioning properly on Windows and Mac OS as well as Linux). Amarok 2 is based on KDE 4 and therefore also run on Windows and Mac OS. Which is great because it really is a great player with lots of built-in features. Last.fm (both scrobbling and streaming), online music stores/labels such as Jamendo and Magnatune are built in. Als the DAAP protocol (which iTunes uses to stream music through the network), iPods and other media players, dynamic playlists... It's all there.

I like that uninitialized something in something errors in perl scripts. I'd figure them out, but my perl programming guide lies on the shelf, collects the dust and I totally can't get bothered to read it.

Kind of like the air in our van at work, we tell them to fix it they dont. The owner of the company tells the mechanics to fix it and they dont...

Today I just discovered that half of the albums I've downloaded from a torrent onto my computer are in joint stereo, which is a fancy term for mono. This isn't the fucking 1960s, when I download an album ilegally I EXPECT IT TO BE IN FUCKING STEREO.
