I've discovered some time ago I can process sound off my TV tuner through VST effects in Reaper (in realtime). Man, soap operas have completely new face with sound dropped half an octave down, dub-style tape delay and reverb with looooots of decay.

Actually I think that most music stores here receive new releases on Fridays, and they'll give you a ring straight away when they get it if you're pre-ordered (in the shop). So it's not that uncommon to get new releases on the Friday before.
