So here it is, my first recording in months and months. I think it sounds pretty decent. I used EZ drummer for all the drums and my Line 6 POD X3 for the guitars/bass and mic'd my Martin DX1 with an Audix i5.

Only thing that's a bit 'off' I think are the drums... Snare sounds really thin, bass drum is a bit quite and your double bass is on the speedy side

Ah, I didnt program the drums myself. I took them out of a Guitar Pro file (exported a midi of them)

I did a lot to try and get the snare and kick to sound much more full, but every time I did it would clip like mad.

But, you could always get a drumprogram like EZ-drummer, or even Rhythm Rascal ( that one's free, and easy as hell to use) It would make the drums sound better, and you would get the chance to fuck with the EQ a little

It is EZ Drummer. For some reason it just didnt shine through as much as it has in the past for me...I was actually having bad clipping issues bringing it up any more than it is right now.

I might go ahead and record some original stuff soon. Or maybe a Gojira cover (provided i can find a decent midi of their drums...i suck so bad at programming drums)

Drum machines are a pain in the ass

I was definitely considering original work. Just dont know what yet. I have a lot of old stuff i dont like any more. I think I might finish recording the song i already started, Neurosane. It's total Meshuggah worship
