Got this news the other day:

CARDIACS official website (http://www.cardiacs.com) is reporting (July 16) that Tim Smith, their leader, has suffered a heart attack. Apparently this happened late last month, and he is recovering and out of immediate danger. I'm sure you'll join with me in wishing this amazingly creative man a full recovery.

Cardiacs are gold and it pleases me to see some kind of linkage between two of my favourite artists (beyond the very tangental link via The Wildhearts). They are both Heaven Born and Ever Bright.
