I used go in this when I was on my old Desktop, then I bought a laptop and every time I tried to download mIRC it bugged out and I got Trojans and stuff.. Anybody got a link that won't riddle me with viruses? Every one I try fails..

I think the last client I tried for Windows van VIRC (or something like that), that was pretty good.

Yes, I use this one. Not sure about features, since I still don't know a crap about IRC, but it's user friendly, stable and perfectly usable. And it's free.
I've just downloaded mirc from the mirc website, with no troubles? I am unsure of your problems, try another site? cnet maybe.
