I don't think it's too much like Devin Townsend/SYL.
Yes, there is an influence there, but it doesn't sound like you're trying to be Devin Townsend or SYL, you do have your own sound. No one makes music in a complete vaccuum, your influences are always going to affect you a little bit.

Devin Townsend wasn't actually the first band it reminded me of. The first bands I thought of were Asgaroth http://www.myspace.com/asgaroth, and to a lesser extent, early Soilwork.

Anyway, it's really good. I found myself coming back to the myspace to listen to a few of the tracks again, because I liked them so much.

... It kinda reminds me of Physicist. With a bit of earlier Dev stuff.

It's quite good, though.

Definitely not "too much" like Dev, but the influence is there for people who are aware of Dev's music. I like it, though.

I would buy this, nice work. But the part in ''Life'' starting from about 3:03ish sounds quite like Shitstorm, did you notice this? Still, I think it's good music and I would buy copy of your EP if I could get my hands on one. Though I think it's very unlikely here in Finland.
