Knowledge of Dev-related stuff began with buying an issue of Metal Hammer Magazine when Alien was released, reading the interview Dev seemed like a pretty out-there character, and Love? was on the sampler CD. I immediately loved it, and went on an SYL-purchasing binge, till one night several months later I was browsing the net, went onto wiki and just typed in Mr. Townsend and realised he did solo stuff too.

Twas the 23rd of February, 2006, when I went to the official myspace, downloaded three tracks (Life, Christeen and Night) and just.. got completely blown away by how much I loved what I was hearing. Even more than SYL. And I LOVED SYL.. Life in particular just captivated me from the first play like no ever song ever had, and the collection grew quick and fast from there. I don't know how I remembered the exact date.. but I obviously found it out somehow for some reason.. I shall forever hold it as the day my idea of how incredible music can be just got turned topsy-turvy..
