with the economy in the states in the tanker and alot of unemployed people looking for cash work or off the book stuff. articles have been coming out about about how going to the sperm bank if ur qualified and going often and getting paid for it.
the plasma is getting paid for ur time its a longer process than giving blood supposedly and they pay not for the plasma but for ur time(and a juice and cookie).
my ? to u all if u had to would u do either or both if u needed to make some extra bucks while possibly helping others.

im more interested in the plasma due to high shortage and is more indemand but i cant find one so far in jersey that pays for ur time.

the problem with the sperm thing is the quality and only a smal percentage get accepted to come back and get paid.

Why not? Giving blood dosen't hurt as much as it should, its saving someone's life, and it gives you money. As for donating sperm, the worst case scenario is that you jacked off for nothing, which really isn't that bad.

It is certainly vital, to your health, but also to other people's health. If I went to hospital I would surely be very grateful if somebody else's blood saved my life.

as for blood...well, I wouldn't necessarily do it 'because' of the money but if I 'would' get money for it I wouldn't say no either. You donate blood and may help someone with it and at the same time get money which may help you. Nothing wrong with that.

but in reality, given my minimum, or to be honest, total lack of concern towards the majority of people, i wouldnt, unless if i got paid. if its ppl i know and truly care about, ill bleed on'em all they need

In the Uk anyway, if you are gay, have got a tattoo within 6 months (possibly even a piercing) you ain't giving blood...
