Hello all,

Just sitting here watching the Safe Zone DVD and was wondering if anyone know what pickup Dev has in the bridge position of his fireglo strat (the one with the Yin and Yang sticker).
It looks like it's a Seymour Duncan, but I have no idea what the model is.
I've figured out that the neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan Hot Stack and the middle is probably a standard Fender.

Thanks
Richard

Im pretty sure its a SD Pearly Gates

Edit: Sorry, I thought you were talking about the pickup in the bridge.

Thanks Ghaleon.

I had a look at the video and you're right it's not a SD in the neck. But when I looked up Sustainiac's on the net all I could find was a model where the pole piece/bar was split in the middle. The one Dev's strat have a solid bar

Look at the strat scratch plate.
Unless it's some kind of older model.

Not a fernades neck pickup...it's a seymour duncan as well...a Hot Stack pickup. I got one in my strat with the pearly gates in the bridge as well. Adds a little more bite to your top end.

He has the white cover over it so the seymour duncan logo is covered, but I assure you, it is a hot stack. Devin told me at a show not super long ago that those sustainiac pickups aren't needed when you use as much delay as he does. Said adding one of those things to it would be like adding gas to a fire.
