Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

great stuff if you dig groove metal.

Fscking hell, if you want to clone Meshuggah at least change it a little bit - first song on their myspace sound completely like remixed Concatenation off Chaosphere, second one is like mangled Rational Gaze. These guys have no shame.

Naaahhh. Titan has Meshuggah influence but not as much as Aleph did. Aleph was a straight clone of Meshuggah but Titan has a much more raw sound than any of the Meshuggah albums and a bit of a different style to it. I recommend listening to Titan all the way through before judging ;)

They probably didn't have money to hire Daniel Bergstrand to perform exact copy of Meshuggah's production. Aside of that, you have to try to fool yourself very hard to not notice how unoriginal it is. Somehow I doubt they're fountain of creativity on the rest of their CD.

Yeah, vocals are different. Because vocals are most difficult to copy, I guess. Only band with perfect copy of Jens Kidman's voice is Coprofago, fortunately aside of obvious meshuggy ripping off they have loads of own fusion parts (fretless bass, more solos and stuff).

Click "Isolated through multiplicity" for hot fusiony action.

Ah, I've just noticed ???? are on Listenable's "Revolution Calling" compilation. I think sometime ago I've bitched here about my dissapointment with it and how full of Meshuggah/DEP copycats it is :)

Austria - Germany in Euro 2008.

C'mon Austria!! (No offence to any of die Deutschen in the Devy concregation, I just desperately wanna see the underdogs get through!)

And Hummer is also buzzing away in the background..

EDIT:
 Hmm. I jinxed it. No sooner had I hit "Submit", Ballack blazes a free kick into the top corner. :?

I've listened to Coprofago before. Crazy band. Honestly i find ???? to be fun to listen to...Theres no way to discredit the fact that they most definitely rip Meshuggah right off...but there is a ton of unknown bands out there right now who do the SAME thing, some worse, some better.

That being said...

Listening to Scar Symmetry's Holographic Universe again...
